The Winery
Settesoli

We were born in 1958 in Menfi, in the same year in which "Il Gattopardo" by Tomasi di Lampedusa was published, a Sicilian historical novel in which a fief called Settesoli is mentioned. An important estate, so much so as to be given in dowry by Don Calogero Sedara to his daughter Angelica for the wedding with Tancredi, nephew of the Prince of Salina: same fief from which we take the name and the same land that are the background to the book and our daily look. Here relives an ancient history that dates back to the Sicans and passes from the ancient Greeks: our vineyards still surround Selinunte, the largest archaeological park in Europe, and they have supported it with a fundraiser that aims to make this more known and usable this treasure of our territory.
