The Feudo Arancio Grillo 2017 is a monovarietal Grillo white from Sicily. The rather late grape variety ripes in mid September and leads to a later harvest than usual. This way, the autchthone variety obtains a better balance between fruit and minerality. The 2017 vintage is another successful wine following a many-awarded range called Feudo Arancio Grillo. Its predecessors have already collected gold, silver and bronze at the most important wine competitions such as Decanter World Wine Awards, Berliner Wein Trophy or AWC Vienna. This year, the Grillo makes a good figure as well and according to Feudo Arancio, convinces best paired with pasta with swordfish.

The Sicily Feudo Arancio Grillo was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Acate, in the province of Ragusa. It is made entirely from Grillo grapes, harvested by hand only around the second week of September. After a pressing under reducing conditions, i.e. in total absence of oxygen, the fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C for 10 days. The wine is aged for five months on its lees before being bottled. The Feudo Arancio Grillo has a straw yellow color and intense concentration. The nose opens with a tropical bouquet, with hints of mango and papaya, which are combined with pleasant notes of jasmine and white flowers. The palate is fresh and delicately balanced. Perfect to accompany pasta dishes with vegetables and seafood, it is ideal in combination with white meats and baked fish.

- Feudo Arancio has a very nice example in the portfolio, a characterful white wine with a wide range of fragrance bouquet (jasmine, tropical fruit, citrus) and good structure

It has a strong colour considering that it is a Feudo Arancio. Notes of white fruits such as apples.It tasted like a mouth-watering candy.
Very good this 2018 with rice crust.
