Description of Solera 1847 Cream
Solera 1847 Cream (Pedro Ximénez and Palomino Fino)
TASTING NOTES:
- Color: mahogany has a clear tonality very much alive.
- Flavour: Sweet and lush aromas of raisins intertwined with notes of vanilla and wood, thanks to the integration of the barrel.
- Taste: The palate has a velvety texture, with sweet notes of figs, raisins, caramel and chocolate.
PRODUCER: González Byass. Spanish company producer of wines and spirits, with presence in the most important wine regions of the Iberian Peninsula, such as Rioja, Somontano, Catalonia, Castilla, Cadiz, Rueda and Rias Baixas. In 2016 he acquired the family winery Veramonte in Chile.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: This fortified wine sherry is made from two varieties of grapes; Palomino Fino (75%) and Pedro Ximénez (25%). After a manual harvest, Pedro Ximénez undergoes a process soleus, which is let outdoors time for which pasifique. Once they arrive at the winery, the fruits are vinified separately. After obtaining the run juice through a pressing and fermentation, the resulting wines are mixed and introduced a system screeds American oak, where the wine aged for a period of 8 years. This wine is ideal with desserts made with fruit, ice cream, apple pie or cheese and sausages.

Gonzalez Byass was founded in 1835 when the young Manuel Maria Gonzalez Angel reached Jerez willing to take a place in the prosperous and thriving sherry business. Encouraged by the continuous development of exports, in the same year he acquired a small winery and started to produce and, finally, export sherry as well.
