TASTING NOTES OF Malo Platinum Reserva 2010:

  • View: intense ruby.
  • Nose: balsamic aromas menthol, eucalyptus, plums, vegetal notes good chocolate and toasted wood.
  • Mouth: Velvety, elegant structure. long and very pleasant finish.

APPELLATION: Setubal.

GRAPES: Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon.

AGEING: 14 months in barrels of French and American oak.

PREPARATION: fermenting grapes in mills with temperature control and pressed.

PAIRING: Red meat or other special dishes of meat or soft cheeses.

This red wine is cherry with brown edges. The aromas of coffee and toffee predominate. Nice and fresh. We had it while we waited for the meal, with appetizers. I purchased various bottles of Malo Platinum Reserva 2010 in a supermarket. I found this 2010 rather watery .
