The Winery
Casa Ermelinda Freitas
This company, which was founded in 1920 by Manuel João de Freitas, had its priorities set on the vineyards' and wines' quality. The wine was produced and sold, withouth any branding. The brand itself was invented in 1997. The first wine produced and sold with the branding of Casa Ermelinda Freitas is the "Terras do Pó tinto".
