TASTING NOTES OF Dona Ermelinda Branco:
- View: greenish straw.
- Nose: Intense fruity aroma with notes of tropical fruits and honey.
- Mouth: mouth filled with a great balance between acidity and sugar components, and wood alcohol. Long, lingering and pleasant finish.
APPELLATION: Setubal.
VINEYARD: Casa Ermelinda Freitas
GRAPES: 30% Fernão Pires, Arinto 30%, 20% Antão Vaz, 20% Chardonnay.
WINE PAIRING: excellent fish dishes, salads, pastas and white meats.

This company, which was founded in 1920 by Manuel João de Freitas, had its priorities set on the vineyards' and wines' quality. The wine was produced and sold, withouth any branding. The brand itself was invented in 1997. The first wine produced and sold with the branding of Casa Ermelinda Freitas is the "Terras do Pó tinto".

- Ermelinda White has an intense, fruity aroma with notes of honey and tropical fruit

- Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel, temperature controlled vats, followed by a 3 month ageing period in french and american oak half barrels.
