Over the centuries, Château Rieussec has changed owners several times until 1985 when it was bought by Baronss Domaine de Rothschild, which allowed him to go even further in the search for an increasingly high quality. The vineyards occupy one of the highest points in Sauternes, after those of Yquem, with a ghiaiso and calcareous soil. The yields of currently screws are less than 15 quintals per hectare. From deep golden color presents a floral bouquet with fruity shades of peach, pear, green almond and apricot jam and a hint of spicy ginger cream. At palto it is soft, creamy and with great persistence
