Delivers lot of botrytis spice, with lemon tart and cooked apple. Full-bodied, with cream, vanilla and an intense tropical fruit and honey aftertaste. Long and viscous, with a beautiful spicy finish.

Reviews of other vintages of Château Guiraud 200520112016

The Château Guiraud has the fourth place in the James Suckling's top100 wine.

The 2011 vintage comes with a double turning point: the first vintage certified organic and the first from a fully planted vineyard. It offers a beautiful floral nose, subtle and fresh. In mouth, the wine starts with a very soft structure full of freshness. This first cru shows opulent, rich and intense, with notes of yellow fruits, apricot particular, pear and a lovely light oak feeling. The whole is structured by a very treacly matter that perfectly matche the style of the vintage.Drink or keep: 2018 - 2035 or longerDelicious with: Crayfish

I was impressed by its colour. The barrel leaves good flavours.
