Emerging from the possessions of the family of Filhot and Pineau de Rey, the two crus marketed after the French Revolution of the family Lur-Saluces, but comes together in 1901 to Château Filhot. Therefore, both wineries classification of 1855 were separated then it was in 1935 by a group led by the Countess Durieu de Lacavelle, born Lur-Saluces, bought by her brother, it wandered through marriage in the family de Vaucelles in the 70s.
