Doisy-Daëne has been very successful for a few years thanks to Denis Dubourdieu who is replacing his father Pierre.
2006 is a Barsac with a shiny gold colour robe. The nose is rich and fine. It is full of citrus fruits aromas and tangerine, lemon, orange marmelade with a hint of apricot. It ends on a fruity final, this Doisy-Daëne 2006 is well-balanced.

I enjoyed it.
Very light flavour. Very nice roasted flavours.
We didn't pair it well, but the wine was good.
