Ein sehr interessanter Sauternes: Dank seiner einwandfreien Qualität, die vielleicht noch nicht dazu reicht, sich mit den Premier Cru Classé zu messen, kann er sich, und das schon ganz alleine wegen seinem moderaten Preis, mit den Zweitweinen auf eine Stufe stellen. Bastor Lamontagne erzeugt sehr schöne Sauternes, süsslich aber nicht zu schwer, duftig und wunderbar frisch. Eine empfehlenswerte Alternative zu teureren Sauternes... Le Château Bastor-Lamontagne 2008 dévoile une robe lumineuse jaune doré, limpide et aux larmes épaisses. Le nez est tonique et intense, marqué par des arômes de fruits exotiques (mangue, ananas caramélisé) et de fruits confits (abricot, citron), avec une touche de miel d’acacia. Au palais, il est suave mais équilibré, l’acidité de 2008 relevant sa fraicheur. Onctueux et dense, il empli le palais de douces saveurs fruitées et gourmandes. Persistante, la finale s’étire en bouche longtemps après chaque gorgée. Vin à la longévité exceptionnelle. À déguster jeune sur les fruits, ou plus âgé sur des arômes plus complexes de fruits secs, miel, noix… Boire ou garder: 2015 - 2024

Fantastic colour. A smoky touch remained in my mouth.
