Description of Carmes de Rieussec 2015
Carmes de Rieussec 2015 (Muscadelle, Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc)
TASTING NOTES OF Carmes de Rieussec 2015:
- View: Capa golden with amber reflections clear.
- Nose: The nose, attractive freshness of exotic fruits.
- Mouth: The palate of great licorosa structure, without excess, and end slightly candied citrus notes.
ADD 2015: After a normal winter and an exceptionally temperate April 2015, the summer months were presented rather cool, with sunny days and temperatures below average. The heat and sun were installed in September and October, allowing a quiet and complete at the time of harvest maturity. In short, it was a meteorologically interesting year for a large millésime.
How to serve
IN THE 18TH CENTURY, the Rieussec estate belonged to the Carmes de Langon monks. The confiscation of the estate during the revolution led to its public sale around 1790 as an "object of national heritage" to Mr. Marheilhac, the period's owner of Château La Louvière at Léognan.More about the Winery

This 2017 has a phenomenal QPR.
Château Rieussec Carmes de Rieussec 2017
Has a very cheerful colour. The 2016 taste was evident in the mouth.
A sweet that pairs well with moussaka.

A Muscadelle with a nice colour. A very light taste.
