TASTING NOTES OF Carmes de Rieussec 2014:
- View: Golden yellow.
- Nose: a very pure and mellow bouquet with extraordinary intensity.
- Mouth: unctuous at the entrance with a touch of ginger, many botrytised fruit but with persistence in the finish.
VINEYARD: Château Rieussec
GRAPES: 92% Semillon, 4% and 4% Muscadelle Sauvignon Blanc.
WINE PAIRING: lemon tart.

How to serve
IN THE 18TH CENTURY, the Rieussec estate belonged to the Carmes de Langon monks. The confiscation of the estate during the revolution led to its public sale around 1790 as an "object of national heritage" to Mr. Marheilhac, the period's owner of Château La Louvière at Léognan.More about the Winery
