Carmes de Rieussec 2012 (Muscadelle, Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc)
- View: Carmes de Rieussec Blanc 2012 shows a deep golden color
- Nose: Aromas of white, acacia and honeysuckle flowers.
- Mouth: The palate outset liqueur and honey notes are perceived. The wine is balanced to provide a moderately long finish, with a fairly lively, lasting and pleasant expression.
PAIRING: aperitif wine should be drunk young.
GRAPES: 87% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon and 3% Muscadelle

IN THE 18TH CENTURY, the Rieussec estate belonged to the Carmes de Langon monks. The confiscation of the estate during the revolution led to its public sale around 1790 as an "object of national heritage" to Mr. Marheilhac, the period's owner of Château La Louvière at Léognan.More about the Winery
