VINTAGE 2007: After a normal winter and a month of exceptionally tempered April 2007, the summer months were presented rather cool, with sunny days and temperatures below average. The heat and sun were installed in September and October, allowing a peaceful and complete at the time of harvest maturity. In short, it was a meteorologically interesting year for a great vintage year.
How to serve
IN THE 18TH CENTURY, the Rieussec estate belonged to the Carmes de Langon monks. The confiscation of the estate during the revolution led to its public sale around 1790 as an "object of national heritage" to Mr. Marheilhac, the period's owner of Château La Louvière at Léognan.More about the Winery
