Elaboration of Carmes de Rieussec 2007

Carmes de Rieussec 2007 (Muscadelle, Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc)

  • View: Coat with golden light amber highlights.
  • Nose: The nose, attractive freshness of exotic fruits.
  • Mouth: The palate of licorice great structure, without excess, and end slightly candied citrus notes.

VINTAGE 2007: After a normal winter and a month of exceptionally tempered April 2007, the summer months were presented rather cool, with sunny days and temperatures below average. The heat and sun were installed in September and October, allowing a peaceful and complete at the time of harvest maturity. In short, it was a meteorologically interesting year for a great vintage year.

Château Rieussec

IN THE 18TH CENTURY, the Rieussec estate belonged to the Carmes de Langon monks. The confiscation of the estate during the revolution led to its public sale around 1790 as an "object of national heritage" to Mr. Marheilhac, the period's owner of Château La Louvière at Léognan.

I drank with work colleagues.
Has a very cheerful colour. The 2016 taste was evident in the mouth.
A sweet that pairs well with moussaka.
