The name of this wine, Tramari, is inspired by its production area and means "between the two seas", the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian. This rosé by Cantine San Marzano is born in Salento, about 100 metres above sea level and immersed in the Mediterranean scrub that characterizes not only the landscape, but also its aromatic bouquet.
Made from Primitivo, grapes one of the most representative varieties from the Puglia region, San Marzano Tramari Rosé di Primitivo 2019 is a light and fresh wine with a rich scent of red fruit and aromatic herbs. In the mouth, the taste is juicy and balanced, incredibly elegant, enriched by a delicate mineral nuance on the finish.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is a wine that is particularly good with fish soups and broths, pizza, fried seafood and fresh cheese. However, this wine really shines when paired with typical Apulian burrata!

Throughout the decades it has grown significantly and now attracts over 1,200 top-quality vine growers.More about the Winery
Reviews of San Marzano Tramari Rosé di Primitivo 2019
A very good rosé but with too much wood flavour.
It has too much body for my taste.
