- View: intense ruby red.
- Nose: aromas of black cherries, prunes, spices and white pepper.
- Mouth: full-bodied, velvety and elegant, with soft but firm tannins and a long, lingering finish.

GRAPES: Primitivo 100%.
AGEING: aged in stainless steel containers at a temperature of 18ºC
PREPARATION: After de-stemming, the grapes are not crushed, allowing them to remain intact, reducing damage to the skin and optimizes the extraction of color. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 23-25 ° C for 8-10 days. Pumpovers carried out frequent takedowns during fermentation to achieve a smooth extraction of aromas and soft tannins. After the transfer, malolactic fermentation is induced.

Reviews of Masseria Borgo Dei Trulli Primitivo Salento 2017
Mixture of red and brown colour. This wine from Masseria Borgo Dei Trulli smells like red fruit compote. Extraordinary flavour with caramel hints.
It would have been better with meat.
Red with violet edges. The smell was strong and I liked it. Good acidity for my taste.
