Château Talbot 2012

Deep ruby in colour A marvellous array of flavours and aromas, especially blackcurrants, wild berries, leather, herbs, chocolate, vanilla, smoky oak and spices The tannic structure is tight, well integrated and superbly crafted, beginning to soften now and revealing a seductive side to this famous wine

The Château Talbot is located in the Saint-Julien appellation. Set ideally on the banks of the Gironde estuary on serious alluvial ridges thrusted Massif Central by the Dordogne and the Pyrenees by the Garonne, the Local Château Talbot is exceptional. they found in the aromas of this great red wine. The vineyard extends all around the house to the northern borders of the appellation on the edge of Pauillac. The holding of the vineyard is one of the most irreproachable of the Medoc. Red wines are regularly opulent but very elegant. The Cordier family has owned since the beginning of the century and generation to generation continues this profound idea of quality in their wine production contributes to the distinction of the 4th Grand Cru Classé.

It was served at a wedding.
A red Bordeaux Cabernet Franc. I liked its toasted aromas. Correct acidity.
The best wine for a fish dish, like tuna.

Red intense cherry colour and high layer. Scent of red roses. A surprisingly fresh wine.
