I would suggest that you serve it with a good potatoes stew. My best friend had tried it and she recommended it to me.
The Château Ducru Beaucaillou has a red cherry colour. The Château Ducru Beaucaillou exudes aromas of violets. Extraordinary flavour with caramel hints.

Reviews of other vintages of Château Ducru Beaucaillou 2014198620152013

On a terroir so gravely that it has earned the name Beaucaillou ("beautiful stones" in French), the Ducru family created a second classified growth. Today, these 50 hectares of gravely vineyard overlooking the Gironde estuary are planted with a large percentage of Merlot, which makes its wine supple and inviting, even if Cabernet Sauvignon is in the majority.
Very slowly in its evolution, Ducru-Beaucaillou comes out in years.

At 25 years old, this wine of 1986 seems to be only 5 to 7 years old. Its colour of dark rubis is just rose on the brim. From its nose rise up a softly perfume of red and black current rounded down of spicery and flowers. The whole light full-bodied and little tannic, shows an incredible finesse.Drink or keep: 2015-2020Delicious with: Braised lamb

I had bought it in the Saint-Julien region .
Good colour. Smell of coffee or wood. Like the fruit flavour.

A good wine to enjoy with good friends.
Cherry red. Strong aromas of nuts. Smoky notes in the mouth.
It is so good that it is best taken alone.
