The truth is that we made the wrong pairing. I found it at a wine tasting.
Good cherry colour, and middle layer. It smells toasty. Good flavours from the barrel.

Bright red and purple reflections. Good notes of toffee. It has a slightly sweet taste. Did not seem well with fish, I would have preferred a vegetable stew.
I just love it.

In this Château Branaire Ducru Rouge 2004 predominate aromas of berries and red fruits. Such a tasty flavour with hints of chocolate. Perfect with lamb stew.
A discovery for me.
