Reviews of Château la Dominique 2017
Landlord since 1969 of Château La Dominique, Clement Fayat, is the head of the first French family business that is independent from the public construction service and trusts the architect Jean Nouvel with all future installation projects on the territory.
The aim is to provide the Château with a winemaking and reception tool at the top of this grand soil of Saint-Emilion. The washtub capacity will also be enlarged and the technical equipment will correspond to latest standards.
With the 2011, La Dominique creates a wine with a profound robe and an expressive nose with scents of black berries. In the mouth, this wine is rich and complex and the fresh black fruits express their generosity. Its finish is harmonious and succulent. There is a perfect balance between well constituted tannins and a fine acidity. For Bettane and Desseauve this wine is an "undeniable success".Drink or keep: 2015 - 2026Delicious with: Game
I have found it rather fine.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown tinges. This red wine has a chestnut background. It was light but tastes like blackberries.
