An intense red colour. Tobacco aromas. All Château Cheval Blanc wines are quite balanced.
It would have been better with fish.
We order it in a supper with working colleagues.

I usually buy this red Château Cheval Blanc online, at Uvinum.
The Château Cheval Blanc Chateau Cheval Blanc 1Er Gr.Cr.Cl.a Magnum has a red cherry colour. Toffee smell, followed by coffee smell. I would say it was a Bordeaux with good body.

Scent of violets and liquorice. The taste reminded me to coffee.
I recommend having it open for a while before drinking.
