TASTING NOTES:

  • Nose: tempting orange blossom, honeysuckle and lime peel.
  • Mouth: warm and full flavors of mandarin and nutmeg a silky mouth feel and a bright acidity.

APPELLATION: Russian River.

GRAPES: 100% Chardonnay.

AGEING: 14 months in French oak barrels.

PREPARATION: after pressing whole bunches, the juice was subjected to a fermentation of native yeast lees were removed for 10 months.

My boss gifted to me.
It has a very nice colour. Good on nose with a predominance of jasmine. The De Loach Winery Chardonnay Russian River Valley Bio is a well-bodied wine.

Straw yellow in color with a clear, bright appearance, our latest OFS Chardonnay is a balanced, complex wine that reflects the best characteristics of each of the vineyards that contribute to the final blend. Fresh aromas of Granny Smith apple, honey suckle, and lime are accompanied by hints of graham cracker and pie crust. On the palate are luscious flavors of DAnjou pear and clove with a hint of nutmeg and black cardamom. A long, bright finish makes this wine a perfect pairing for a variety of dishes including butternut squash ravioli and veal chops.
