Ron Zacapa Centenario XO is produced in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, at 2300m above sea level. It is here, in one of the world's highest ageing centres, that this rum slowly acquires its flavour and character. This rum is really aged above the clouds!
In this premium rum, you will appreciate the toasted aromas of caramel and walnuts, and the sweet scent of marzipan and orange peel. Let your tastebuds be seduced by a delicious rum marked by a delightful balance of sweetness and fruity notes, which testify to its ageing in barrels previously used for cognac. Enjoy!

TASTING NOTES OF Ron Zacapa Centenario XO :
- View: Dark and intense amber colour.
- Nose: Rich and elegant bouquet of aromas; balanced in its notes of ripe fruit, sweet spices, warm caramel, toasted walnuts, cocoa, marzipan and orange zest.
- Mouth: The palate is long, sweet and smooth. It has fruity (pear, cherry, plum and dried banana) and spicy (cloves, vanilla, cinnamon and liquorice) aromas. Dark chocolate and leather sensations in the finish.
DISTILLERY: Licorera Zacapaneca
PRODUCTION: It is produced on the plateaus of Quetzaltenango, at 2300 metres above sea level, with a combination of fine rums aged up to 25 years. The rum is left to age in oak barrels, previously used for Bourbon whisky, Sherry and Pedro Ximenez wines. The last phase of ageing, however, takes place in French cognac barrels.
