- Colour: Captain Morgan Black Spiced 1L has a very distinctive dark brown colour with reddish reflections.
- Aroma: Rich bouquet, full of spicy aromas of vanilla, mint, dark caramel, cinnamon, clove, cherry cola, and hibiscus.
- Taste: Sweet on the palate, with notes of brown sugar, dried fruit, a touch of oak, and a spicy character. Bold and legendary, the finish is quite long with notes of the smoky cask.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: Crafted from the molasses of sugar cane grown in the Caribbean, this marvellous spiced rum is carefully fermented using selected yeast, and later distilled in liquid column stills. Double-charred blackened oak barrels are used to mature the distillation product, concentrate the amazing flavours and spices and add a brush of dark colour to this spirit. Finally, the finest selections of dark Caribbean rums are blended together to obtain this original expression.
