Arehucas Carta Oro
You will like to know that…
The Canary Islands in Spain have a long history of rum production. The Arehucas Distilleries, in particular, founded on the island of Gran Canaria in 1884, is the home to the best and oldest rum cellars in Europe as a whole. For more than a century, Arehucas Distilleries has been providing its rum to the world. Its expertise, location, and the dedication and care of its workforce are what makes this possible.
While Arehucas Carta Oro is the youngest rum produced by the distillery, that does not mean that it is not worth trying. A beautiful caramel colour in the bottle, this Spanish rum is made using sugar cane. After one year of ageing, the result is a smooth, young rum that is full of the flavour and vibrancy of the sugar cane that it is made from.
This rum was made with cocktails in mind. Its light aroma and well-defined palate will add the perfect touch of rum flavour to your drink while not overwhelming the whole. With its bright yellow label and cap, this eye-catching rum is calling out for you to try it. Mix this golden rum in the cocktail of your choice and enjoy the flavour of a historic European rum.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: Produced and distilled in the Canary Islands, this rum is fabricated in one of the most modern facilities with multi column stills. Considered as one of the best, if not the best, Spanish rums, the entirety of the fabrication process is carried out in the distillery, from the harvesting of the sugar canes up until the bottling. This rum is carefully aged in oak barrels for a year, allowing for all the flavours and aromas to blend and settle and imprinting the spirit with a smoky character. Perfect to be served with a couple of ice cubes and a slice of lime for a refreshing beverage. The highly aromatic nature of this spirit has also made it popular among pastry chefs and housewives, using it as an ingredient in many cakes and desserts.
