TASTING NOTES:
- Color: Reddish brick. Opaque and spent in the bottle.
- Aroma: The nose surprises. It has sweet notes and full of candy, candied banana, vanilla and baking, but also an unmistakable note of that deep oil, tar and oak. The composition is very attractive and delicious.
- Taste: On the palate, rum feels balanced and opens sweet toffee, banana and prunes, passing notes of oak and a little oil as the Caroni, but not in an overwhelming way.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: Launched in the second half of 2016, rum "1787" 15 years of Angostura has a dark tone and a massive flavor profile of dried fruit, toasty oak and spice robust. Ron Trinidad as it adapts well just drink. The name refers to the date when the first sugar mill was established in Lapeyrouse farm.
ALCOHOL: 40%
- Nose: A sweet bouquet of banana, dried fruit and oak with top notes of apples.
- Taste: Well balanced, a medium bodied palate with hints of dried prunes and sweet rounded oak notes entwined with toffee nuances.
- Finish: Long and crisp.
- Angostura 1787 Rum is a super-premium blend of rums aged for a minimum of 15 years.
- It is the newest addition to the House of Angostura’s family of premium rums, a range which includes Angostura 7 Year Old Rum, Angostura 1919 and Angostura 1824.
