Criado sobre lías finas y está elaborado con 100% Verdejo. Viñedos de más de 10 años, pertenecientes a la propiedad La Seca, en Valladolid, en el corazón de la Ribera del Duero. Vendimia manual nocturna. Fermentación en depósitos de acero inoxidable. Elaborado con las más modernas tecnologías pero manteniéndose fieles a la tradición.

Color amarillo pajizo verdoso y brillante.

En nariz eboca a ahumados, especiados, finos tostados junto a notas de fruta blanca y de hueso, notas cítricas y anisadas, fruta exótica y las notas típicas verde-vegetal de esta variedad.

En boca es amplio, vivo, untuoso y graso en boca, con cierta estructura y dotado de frescura gracias a su buena acidez. Reaparecen los apuntes de fruta y herbáceos. Largo, expresivo, con recuerdo de barricas, especiado (vainilla), persistente final amargoso característico del verdejo que incita a seguir bebiendo. Postgusto largo y agradable.

Een Rueda die is de beste alleen te ontdekken.
Lichtgeel met bijna doorzichtige reflecties. Wat voor aroma's komt citroensmaak uit. Te zuur naar mijn smaak.
Gaat goed met krabben, zeepokken en andere noordelijke schaal-en schelpdieren.
