Springfield Methode Ancienne Chardonnay 2009

Springfield Methode Ancienne Chardonnay 2009: Methode Anccienne is one of the oldest styles of Burgundy. Harvested in the night of February 6 to get the highest concentrations of the grape is not lost. Greenish yellow hue, the nose protruding aromas rich tropical fruit, pear and pineapple with floral tones. Fresh and complex to the palate, the nuances of fruit well balanced with the wood, make us leading to a final with great character. Already nice nothing more to be released, we can keep bottle five or six more years.

Cellar technology from the old Burgundy. A Chardonnay, unfiltered and unadorned, as it has not often comes in the New World. Classically, it will develop slowly and, we hope, a life can survive. A great wine with gorgeous tropical flavors. Information from the manufacturer: Serve the wine is not too cold. The bouquet develops after about ten minutes of beauty. This wine is aged in the bottle on, best lying at slightly less than 15 degrees C. With a knife the guard plate should be removed on the cork before uncorking. Once crystals have formed and some ground segment, the wine should be decanted.

It smells of lemon and apple. Too watery in the mouth.
It's a good wine!.

Smells like honey. A taste of nothing in particular, just wine.
A Springfield Estate at its optimal time to drink.

Springfield Estate Methode Ancienne Chardonnay 2012
We drank it with a spicy rice. It was part of a Corporate gift.
That white is almost golden yellow. Over all, the Springfield Estate Methode Ancienne Chardonnay reminded me of white flowers. This white is a bit acidic. It depends on your taste.
