The Graham Beck Non Vintage Brut Rose is a delicious South African "champagne" Graham Beck is a specialist Vonkelwijn and also this version got 89 Parker points, which is quite unique for a wine of this price range. The NV Brut Rose is a blend of 54% Pinot Noir and 46% Chardonnay 5, 7 grams per liter of residual sugar. This Brut Rose pearl or Vonkelwijn (South African name for Champagne) has attractive aromas of red cherries and strawberries in the nose aromas of fresh citrus fruit on the palette a rich creamy complexity accompanied with a very fine mousse which adds to the freshness and finesse of this brut. A fully-fledged all-rounder and very attractive as an aperitif or as refreshing glass without food (or between the courses to create some distance to replace the classic sorbet). Tapas / anti-pasti, seafood (mussels, oysters, crab / lobster / langouste)
