Excelsior Sauvignon Blanc 2019 (Sauvignon Blanc)

TASTING NOTES:

View: Pale yellow with green highlights.
Nose: Intense aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, with spicy, floral and aromatic herbs tones.
Mouth: medium body, elegant, silky, pleasant, balanced, complex, with flavors of citrus fruits. Final long and persistent.

APPELLATION: Breede River Valley, South Africa.

VINEYARD: Excelsior.

GRAPES: Sauvignon Blanc.

AGEING: 3 months in stainless steel barrels.

PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand and subjected to a full stripping process. After the soft pressing, maceration is run cold for a period of 4 hours. Fermentation in stainless steel barrels at controlled temperatures of 15 to 18 ° C, for a period of 15 days. 25% of the wine is fermented in French oak barrels. The wine is aged in stainless steel casks for a period of 3 months.

WINE PAIRING: appetizers, white meats, seafood, salads, risotto, white pasta, creamy desserts and fruit.

Bra färg. Anteckningar av vita frukter som äpple.Dominans av röda frukter.
Jag tog det med inlagda sardiner.

Ikke kjøp den i supermarkeder , der er den ikke godt bevart.
Riktig type opak for Excelsior Estate. Den har aromaer av hvite blomster. Kraftig smak av skogsbær.

Ik gebruikte het met mijn vrienden thuis.
Een Sauvignon Blanc met een zeer mooie kleur. Men ruikt aan witte bloemen in de Excelsior Sauvignon Blanc. De smaak had notities van oxydatie.
Het past perfect met manchego kaas.

- The nose is complex with passion fruit, grapefruit and some fresh herb characteristics.
- The palate is full of tropical fruit, with a clean and zesty acidity.

Daffodil Smells. The taste was a bit salty, I was greatly surprised.
The Excelsior Sauvignon Blanc is a fantastic value for money.
