Château de Jau Chez Jau Rivesaltes Grenat 50cl 2010

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: reddish violet.
  • Nose: notes of ripe cherries and berries in the woods, notes of violet, leather and licorice.
  • Mouth: The palate with dense fruit, dark and pleasantly soft tannins.

APPELLATION: Rivesaltes.

VINES: a selection of one parcel of selected old vines Grenache.

GRAPES: Grenache 100%.

PREPARATION: Fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand, they are immediately taken to the winery, completely de-stemmed, crushed and alcoholic fermentation begins. A adding distilled wine high resistance to the wort, fermentation stops prematurely, so that a natural residual sweetness is retained. The maceration "alcoholic" lasts about three weeks during which the sweet wine full of good humor with a rich color and intense fruit, before retiring and quickly filled bottles to maintain clear and aromatic freshness.
