TASTING NOTES OF Vivanco Reserva:

  • View: intense purple red a tile trim.
  • Nose: aromas of cinnamon, sage, some fruity notes of cherry and blackberry and a mineral component.
  • Mouth: deep and mature on the palate, a step envelope, velvety and silky mouth.

APPELLATION: Rioja.

GRAPES: 90% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano.

Vivanco Reserva

Intensity and balance, soft, round tannins, and a long finish with hints of toast and liquorice



Dinastia Vivanco is one of Rioja's leading producers, making modern styled Riojas with the focus firmly on bright, juicy fruit flavours. 



The Vivanco wines are made exclusively from the family's vineyards, where intimate knowledge of the sites enables them to create some superb Rioja, packed full of rustic charm and fresh fruit flavours.

Notes:      Deep, dark cherry red colour with touches of brick red. Aromas of spicy oak, as well as mature black and red fruit; plum, cherry and damson. Some balsamic and eucalyptus notes. Good balance between the aromas from the extended maturation and the mature fruit. This wine has intensity and balance, soft, round tannins, and a long finish with hints of toast and liquorice



Serve:      At 16-18c with meaty pasta dishes, lamb shanks, tapas or burgers

TASTING NOTES OF Vivanco Reserva:

- Nose: This wine offers aromas of cinnamon, sage, all it surrounded by a fruity notes of cherry and blackberries and a mineral component.
- Mouth: Deep and ripe on the palate, offers a step envelope, velvety and silky mouth.

GRAPES: 90% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano.

AGEING: 24 months in new and second year French and American oak barrels. The wine is refined for several months in French oak tino before moving to bottle where it will remain for another 24 months.
PREPARATION: Each variety is made separately. After a soft pressing, the must is encuba gravity in small French oak vats where it ferments and macerated in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature of 30 °C, light receiving pumping for 20 days.
