TASTING NOTES OF Dinastía Vivanco Crianza 2005:
This wine has a red color with flashes tile color, the aroma of leather, spices., Herbs and a variety of berries, we say good breeding.
Its unique, balanced and pleasant taste invites us to continue drinking it.
PREPARATION: After stripping the grapes, continues with the process of fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 10 days at a temperature of 28 °C.
VINEYARD: Bodegas Dinastia Vivanco Briones
STAY IN BARRELS: Rest in barrels of American and French oak for 1 year then bottling.
GRAPES: 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano.
How to serve
The origins of the winemaking vocation of the Vivanco family date back to the year 1915; to the winemaking district of the village of Alberite, La Rioja, where Pedro Vivanco Gonzalez started to make wine for family use from his vineyards. In 1940 he bought a small wine cellar business in the same village. A curious caption had been carved over the door of that cellar reading: "he who walks by and is thirsty, if the door is, should enter and drink".More about the Winery
