TASTING NOTES OF Viña Real Gran Reserva 2011:
- View: ruby red vivid, bright, light garnet edges and high color layer.
- Nose: seductive, elegant and balanced, with delicious aromas of cherries.
- Mouth: notes of spices, incense, a floral touch and smoked meats.
APPELLATION: Rioja.
GRAPES: Tempranillo 95% and 5% Graciano.
AGEING: 24 months in new French and American oak.
PAIRING: stewed chicken, stews, Iberian ham, roast pork, duck, cheeses and cured roasts.
