Viña Ardanza Reserva, one of the most emblematic wines of Rioja Alta, presents the 2009 vintage. Viña Ardanza Reserva 2009 is the second vintage that includes Garnacha in its coupage, which gives it even more elegance and finesse. Luis Gutierrez, taster of the Robert Parker guide in Spain, has awarded it 93/100: "Initially it was closed, shy and serious, mature and a little darker than 2008, but it is very balanced, serious and harmonious."
A great classic for some, a safe value for others, Viña Ardanza Reserva is a wine that surpasses fashions and styles. After 75 years of existence, it remains faithful to its quality, making the right changes to adapt to climate change and terroir, as it has done on this occasion by adding garnacha to its coupage. More than a Rioja, it is a great wine.

The Winery
La Rioja Alta

On July 10, 1890, five Basque and Rioja-based vine growers created "Sociedad Vinicola De La Rioja Alta" in what is known as the Haro Station District. This was the beginning of a fascinating business venture in which the only dream of the five founders was to craft and age high-quality wines.
