Elaboration of Valdelacierva Crianza 2015
Valdelacierva Crianza 2015 (Tempranillo)
- View: ruby, medium-high layer.
- Nose: intense and complex aromas with ripe, balsamic and roasted red fruit well combined.
- Mouth: sweet, meaty and fatty attack, silky tannins, harmonious and voluminous step.
AGEING: aged in French oak barrels (40%) and American (60%) for 14 months, tapering thereafter for 12 months minimum.
METHOD: Handpicked, grape destemming without crushing. Fermentation frustoconical stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Maceration of 10 days in order to complete the extraction of polyphenols. Part of the malolactic in new American oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks.
PAIRING: meats, sausages and cheeses.
TEMPERATURE: 16 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%

Cherry red colour. Aromas of coffee, toffee. A very powerful red.
A very dark red and rather opaque. The smells like violets. Raspberry flavour.
