Bodegas San Esteban is the first cooperative winery in the Rioja appellation, founded in 1953 by 16 founding members. Today, it has over 350 members, who cultivate more than 500 hectares of vineyards. Over the years, the winery has expanded and modernised, becoming established on the Spanish wine scene. The Tierras de Murillo line was launched in 2010.
This Crianza 2017 is an elegant wine with complex ageing aromas. Made from Tempranillo grapes, the Rioja variety par excellence, it is round, soft and silky on the palate, with a long and delicious fruity aftertaste.

TASTING NOTES:
- View: Dark garnet red.
- Nose: Complex ageing aromas with elegant hints of ripe fruit and liquorice.
- Mouth: Round, wide and silky mouth, lively and with a long fruity aftertaste.

AGEING: The wine was aged for 12 months in American (85%) and French oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine remained in the bottle for a few months to finish its refining process before going on sale.
PREPARATION: The fermentation of this crianza red wine takes place in tanks, with temperature control and light pumping over.
PAIRING: Appetizers, soups and stews, meat, pasta, Spanish tapas.
