TASTING NOTES OF Sierra Cantabria Reserva Unica 2014: Sierra Cantabria Reserva 2014 Single
- View: Ruby red
- Nose: very expressive red fruit aromas, cherry and a touch of licorice
- Mouth: Red fruit with a sweet hint of vanilla, very juicy and voluminous. Long finish with good acidity and floral notes.
APPELLATION: Rioja
VINEYARD: Sierra Cantabria
GRAPES: 97% Tempranillo, 3% Graciano
AGEING: 24 months in French oak Bordeaux barrels (60%) and American (40%), 30% and 70% new barrels a maximum of 3 wines.
PREPARATION: Traditional method, 100% destemming. malolactic fermentation in barrel.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
