TASTING NOTES:

• View: Cherry red with bluish hues upper middle layer.
• Nose: Aromas of ripe red fruits accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla and spices on a tan background derived from the integration with oak.
• Mouth: golosa entrance with great structure and balance. On the palate feels the character of ripe tannins. broad and intense finish.

APPELLATION: Rioja

VINEYARD: Vineyards Sierra Cantabria. Iconic wine group owned by the Eguren family. They have several vineyards scattered throughout the Rioja Sonsierra, on the banks of the Ebro River in La Rioja, northern Spain. The grape variety comes from the Finca La Llana, in the Rioja Alavesa, with an area of ​​10 hectares, vines 30 years old, loamy soils with gravels on the surface and Mediterranean climate with continental influence, from the Plateau Central.

GRAPES: 100% Tinta Fina.

AGEING: 12 months in Bordeaux type of French (85%) and American (15%) oak barrels. 40% of the barrels are new.

PREPARATION: The harvest is manual with a very rigorous selection of grapes, which are stored in small boxes up to 20 kg. Destemming is also done by hand, where the fruits, grain by grain, so that the best are selected are analyzed. Macerated with the skins for a period of 12 days. alcoholic at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C Fermentation.
