TASTING NOTES OF Sela 2013:

View: Cherry red, blue, bright, clean highlights.
Nose: fruity aromas, red fruit, cherries, currants, blackberries, balsamic and elegant notes.
Mouth: Vivid, elegant, fresh, tasty, well integrated wood, unctuous, balsamic and persistent notes.

APPELLATION: Rioja.

Im Glas zeigt sich ein mitteltiefes Kirschrot. Im ruhenden Glas sanfte Fruchtaromen, kaum wahrnehmbares Holz. Die frische, rote Frucht im Duft erinnert an Kirschen. Dazu gesellen sich zahlreiche zarte florale Anklaenge und finesse Gewuerznoten. Am Gaumen praesentiert sich der Wein sehr angenehm frisch mit mittlerem Koerper. Fein geschliffene Tannine und die an Kirschen erinnernde Frucht hinterlassen einen runden und erfrischenden Eindruck. Passt zu: spanischen Tapas.

Vino Tinto crianza de Rioja (España) elaborado por la bodega Bodegas Roda con uvas Tempranillo y Graciano. Su maridaje ideal sería con carne a la parrilla, quesos curados, caza de pluma y pelo y estofados. Puede beberse en perfectas condiciones desde ahora hasta el 2021. Debe decantarse, y la temperatura de servicio debe ser entre 12ºC y 16ºC preferiblemente en una copa de tipo Tempranillo.

Es voluminoso, con la sensación de las cerezas bien maduras. El tanino es de muy buena calidad y tiene más presencia y complejidad que en las añadas anteriores, manteniendo el carácter amable disfrutable del vino más cotidiano de Bodegas Roda. Es largo y aguanta muy bien en la boca quedando en el postgusto una agradable sensación de frescura.

Cherry red in colour, bright and clean. The nose is bursting with red fruit aromas - cherries, redcurrants and blackberries. The palate is elegant with lively, fresh flavours. The wood is well-integrated and the finish is persistant.

An attractive, lively medium-deep cherry red colour displaying a clean, bright rim with a blue tinge. Very expressive with well defined fruit character in which fresh red berry fruits, such as cherry, redcurrant and touches of mulberry, come to the fore. The wine shows a youthful, lively, carefree personality but at the same time is complex and serious with slight mineral notes showing through. The oak is almost totally integrated in the fruit. It gives a subtle sensation of unctuousness against a background of spicy and floral hints. Very fruity, with the same red berry fruit sensations found on the nose. Medium-bodied with no hollow on the mid-palate, which is the hallmark of this winery. Very fine tannins and a silky texture. Very fresh, lively and flavoursome. The fruit flavours come through over the oak. Rich and very long with masses of intense flavours. A mouthful of lovely fresh fruit. Serve between 16-18ºC
