Ramón Bilbao Reserva Magnum 2015 (Graciano, Mazuelo and Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: garnet red, medium intensity high. Clean, bright and presence of tears.
- Nose: High intensity nose, notes of black fruit and fresh red fruit aromas of sweet spices, vanilla, pastries, cumin, mentholated touches and scrubland.
- Mouth: fresh, intense, good acidity, ripe tannins and integrated alcohol. In retronasal memories back to red fruit and sweet spices, balanced, harmonious, evolving.
APPELLATION: Rioja.
VINEYARD: Names: Farms La Recilla, Valdegaru, Ozaku and La Olivera.
GRAPES: 90% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo, Graciano.
AGEING: 20 months aging in American oak barrels from Missouri and Ohio.
PREPARATION: traditional production intended for wine with good aging potential and a slow evolution and full bottle. prefermentative maceration of 3 to 4 days, posfermentativas 5 to 7 days with daily pumping and bazuqueos.
WINE PAIRING: Traditional dishes such as red meat, game and aged cheeses.
