The underground wine cellar of Ramón Bilbao has protected this Gran Reserva 2010 between its walls for 36 months. Exhibiting aromas of ripe fruit such as blackberry, and a little hint of spice, it is long in the mouth, powerful and full bodied. Better still, the winery acclaims its excellent ageing potential.

Robert Parker has given it a score of 90/100, while the Guía Peñín has awarded it 91/100.

It pairs well with roast lamb, red meats and sauces.

4 /5

Made in modern style, despite the 36 months in American oak, this is a deeply colouredblend of Tempranillo with 5% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano. It's a youthful, concentrated redwith plenty of backbone and structure, fresh acidity and layers of ripe plum and blueberry fruit.

Red wine with violet reflections. It has a strong caramel smell. Voluptuous in the mouth.
Needs to be drunk with the right food.
At a friend's wedding.

Has a very cheerful colour. Very yeasty, and biscuity, on the nose. Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva was not right, It tasted like cork.
A good wine to toast with.
My friends loved Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva.
I bought several red in the usual shop.
A wine to enjoy without any pretensions.

It's a red with an opaque tone. The main aromas were coffee and wood. It is a very balanced wine.
Ideal with lamb leg.
I shared a few glasses of Ramon Bilbao Gran Reserva with that person I always am happy to drink wine with.
The Ramon Bilbao Gran Reserva is a fantastic value for money.
