Elaboration of Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva 2004
Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva 2004 (Graciano, Mazuelo and Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Ruby red colour with hints of brick red on the edge.
- Nose: Aromas of prune stake and extend to the palate where the nuances of fruit compotes take over.
- Palate: The palate is agile and leaves memories of liquorice and raisin spice and sweeten their path shows its harmony with the wood.
The value of time. Our Grand Reserve is synonymous with delight. A classic among the classics of Rioja for foodies.
GRAPES: 90% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano and Mazuelo.
HARVEST: Exquisite selection of the best old vine plots in and around Haro (The Arogues, La Llana, San Prudencio, etc..) Collected manually during the second week of October.
WINEMAKING: After the selection of grapes, the wine fermented at controlled temperature and spent 30 months in American oak barrels. After bottling it was another 36 months in our underground bottle in total stillness and darkness.
TEMPERATURE: Serving temperature between 17 ºC and 18 ° C.
PAIRING: Join well plates of roast lamb, red meats and spicy sauces made.
