Qué Bonito Cacareaba 2018 (Garnacha blanca and Viura)
- View: intense yellow.
- Nose: fine and elegant wine, citrus aromas, hints of wild flowers and herbs, hints of stone fruits (apricot, plum), and tap mineral.
- Mouth: fresh, fine and good skeleton. Very acidic and fresh, with a long life ahead.
VINEYARD: Name: Winery, Sacramento, Leza, La Nava, San Juan, El Prado and La Canoca. Vineyards located in the municipalities of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Leza. Chalky clay soils, some of them in poor soils, steep slopes (in the case of viura).
GRAPES: 40% Grenache, 34% Viura and 26% Malvasia.
AGEING: 8 months in new French oak barrels. Filtration, without fining or cold stabilization. Exit to the market in September 2019.
PREPARATION: destemming. Selected grapes macerated in cold for 24 hours and drained from the yolk must is introduced in barrels of 225 liters French oak for alcoholic fermentation and subsequent aging develops.
WINE PAIRING: smoked fish and rice with blue fish.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 9-12ºC
