Elaboration of Marqués de Murrieta Reserva 2006
Marqués de Murrieta Reserva 2006 (Mazuelo, Tempranillo and Garnacha tinta)
Marqués de Murrieta is one of the most historic Spanish wineries.
Its origins date back to 1852 when Luciano de Murrieta began trading their wines in the new world.
The winery, old Château Ygay, has more than 300 hectares of vineyards, which makes possible that this winery is one of the few in Spain that produces his own grapes giving the vineyard the utmost care, while having control about her.
Its production is limited and this added to the quality of its wines gives the wines a must exclusivity.
Marqués de Murrieta is a wine with character and style of wines swinging between old and modern.
These are wines with a good structure, good color, grade and enough acidity to age and complexed for many years.
The taste of its wines has a Mediterranean accent where the taste comes close to the woodwork, but the old dry wood without so characteristic signs of moisture in the barrels stored long time.
