Marqués de Cáceres

Marqués de Cáceres has always considered that the quality of its red wines should "bring out in full the character of the grapes with a peaceful period in oak". For this reason, the soil, the grape varieties, the vinification process and ageing in oak are the protagonists forming the basis that lends distinction to the wines and, at the same time, creates their distinctive personality.

Reserve Red Wine Rioja (Spain) produced by the winery Marqués de Cáceres Winery Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano. His ideal pairing would be with roasts, game birds and ground, stews and grilled meat. The optimal consumption will be from now until 2026. We believe that this wine should be decanted. It should be served at a temperature of between 14ºC and 18ºC in a glass of Tempranillo type for better tasting.

The Company Reserva Rioja Marques de Caceres was born in La Rioja area located in the northern part of Spain. It is produced mainly with Tempranillo grapes and with Garnacha and Graciano grapes, harvested and selected at hand. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature which varies from a minimum of 10 ° C to a maximum of 28 ° C for about 25 days, the malolactic fermentation instead takes place in stainless steel tanks. Then the wine is aged in oak barrels with racking taking place every 6 months. The Reserva Rioja is characterized by a red color with bright reflections. The nose opens with an elegant and intense berry bouquet, enhanced by hints of chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is soft and round, it gives a hint of coffee and milk with a final pleasantly warm. Ideal with cold cuts and sausages, it is great to serve with pasta dishes, recipes for game and red meats.

- Blessed by the superb 2009 harvest, this wine has a dark, dense colour.
- Intense, complex bouquet that confirms its ageing in quality oak: powerful aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants with a depth of toasted notes that blend with very fine oak.
- Pleasantly full on tasting with concentrated flavours.
- Clearly a wine of character and structure but with a nice, fleshy texture.
- Classy and elegant with good potential for ageing.

Red wine of beautiful ruby color. Deep nose with notes of black fruit that fade on a very thin wood. On the palate, beautiful expression of ripe fruit which highlights the kind of noble terroir; the flavors are still fresh and rest on your body and tannins that enhance its harmony. Nice creamy structure and complexity that appear elegantly preever leaving a promising evolution. A fine and well wrapped tannins give us a sweet, lingering finish. A wine of great distinction. Aging: Its aging is 22 months in oak barrels from central France, then to refine in the bottle for two years or more, depending on the date of marketing.
