This Marqués de Cáceres Crianza 2010 comes from 15 to 25-year-old vines. While 85% of the grapes come from Marqués de Cáceres's vineyard in the Rioja Alta, 15% originate from Rioja Alavesa. The terroirs mainly consist of clayey limestone soils, but in the Rioja Alta, there is also a ferrous subsoil. Marqués de Cáceres Crianza 2010 is a great every-day-wine and offers a good quality for a low price.

The Winery
Marqués de Cáceres

Marqués de Cáceres has always considered that the quality of its red wines should "bring out in full the character of the grapes with a peaceful period in oak". For this reason, the soil, the grape varieties, the vinification process and ageing in oak are the protagonists forming the basis that lends distinction to the wines and, at the same time, creates their distinctive personality.
