Libalis Frizz 5.5 2018 (Malvasía, Moscatel and Viura)
- View: Pale yellow with light bubbles.
- Nose: Aromatic notes of tropical and fresh fruits; passion fruit, pineapple, mango, banana. It emphasizes fresh grapes.
- Mouth: bubbly and vibrant flavor, with balanced acidity and a sweet aftertaste on the palate.
GRAPES: Moscatel, Viura, Malvasia.
AGEING: This wine is consumed young.
PREPARATION: The grapes are pressed gently and macerated in cold temperatures for 6 hours, then fermented at cold temperatures for a few days. Then cooled during the fermentation process, to stop abruptly. Is added a carbonic touch after stabilization, then filtered and bottled.
PAIRING: Fresh salads, appetizers, white meats, seafood, lobster, pork chops, lamb, paellas, pastas, risottos, carpaccio, fresh cheeses, meats, fruit and cream desserts.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE SERVICE: 08.06 ° C
The grapes used to make Maetierra´s wines are grown in Finca Maetierra, which is located in Calahorra, a municipality that grows 150 hectares of different varieties. Maetierra has opted for modern plantations in a trellis formation, which are harvested mechanically at night when the temperature is the lowest, as the grapes are picked in the last weeks of August.More about the Winery

It has a very nice colour. The Libalis Frizz 5.5 2019 gave off aromas of yeast. I liked the taste of blackberries in this Libalis Frizz 5.5.
I would have accompanied it with a fatty fish.
We drank it only for the toasts.
We tested it in a dinner Party.
We drank this wine with seafood rice.
I was invited by a friend to try this Libalis Frizz 5.5.
