La Rioja Alta Viña Alberdi Reserva 2015 (Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: garnet, medium and intense toasted edge layer
- Nose: High aromatic intensity, dominated by ripe fruits: raspberry, red cherry, wild strawberries and red currants, with a balsamic background of vanilla, caramel toast, English biscuit, coffee and candy mints.
- Mouth: good acidity, freshness, balance, soft and gentle tannins. In the aftertaste persistence of memory and aromatic red fruit jam, prunes harmony, coffee, vanilla and caramel.
APPELLATION: Rioja.
VINEYARD: from the Mayorita, Rebollar, Bardal and selected plots of the stick in Alto de Rodezno and Labastida King on farms. Are vineyards situated at 500-600 meters above sea level, land planted in calcareous clay more than 40 years ago.
GRAPES: 100% Tempranillo.
WINE PAIRING: with appetizers, snacks, picoteas and barbecues, rice, pasta, soups generally soft meat and fish grilled.
The Winery
La Rioja Alta

On July 10, 1890, five Basque and Rioja-based vine growers created "Sociedad Vinicola De La Rioja Alta" in what is known as the Haro Station District. This was the beginning of a fascinating business venture in which the only dream of the five founders was to craft and age high-quality wines.
